15th November – Breaking News- Westhay road probably closed for the afternoon

A Jenkinson lorry overturned last evening (14th) at the location where the peat works are building a new lake. The lorry was fully laden with chippings and has completely over turned.

The recovery is planned for today (15th) and commences at 11:30am – the road will probably be closed while the recovery takes place. at this time there is no indication how long this will take.
