Harvest Home 2016 News

alex-lovellThe Harvest Home Committee are delighted to announce that Alex Lovell from BBC Somerset has agreed to open the event this year.  Get your selfie pose ready !

Entrance to the marquee will be strictly by ticket, no ticket, no entry, no exceptions, make sure you bring yours with you.  We have had problems in the past with more guests than places!!  We have ordered an even bigger marquee this year so hopefully it will not be such a squash!

Tickets for both the lunch and evening are still available, however, the combined early bird discount is no longer available unless you have already booked them.  Lunch tickets are now limited so please get yours soon as to not be disappointed.  If you have pre-booked tickets and not yet paid for them, please do so urgently.  Tickets not paid for and collected by end of June may be put back up for sale.

There will be a number of activities in the field after the lunch – bouncy castle, reptile house, balloons etc. so please stay around and enjoy the afternoon.

The evening event is also looking good with confirmed  Elvis Tribute/Karaoke act and live music from SNAPPA and as usual there will be a bar and pig roast.

We are always looking for helpers with catering and setup before the event and clearing up after the event, anyone wishing to help in anyway please send me your email and contact details so we know how to contact you, or just turn up at the field anytime after Wednesday Aug 3rd when you see people around, there will always be something to be done, especially on the Sunday for clearing up.

If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor part of the event or make a donation please contact me or Susan Ball on [email protected], there will be advertising on our web site, www.burtleharvesthome.co.uk, in the program and in the marquee on the day.
