Hall Facilities

The Main Hall (17.5m x 6.5m)

The Main Hall is an airy but welcoming space with the original polished wood floor. 100 people can be seated ‘theatre style’ or at tables for a meal. The hall is well lit but is also fitted with dimmable uplighters to create a more relaxed atmosphere.

There are male, female and disabled/baby change toilets off of the hall.

The large stage (5.5m x 5.5m, depth 4.5m from rear to inside curtain)

The large stage is well equipped with a lighting and sound system and is situated at one end of the hall. It is fitted with heavy ‘theatre’ style curtains. All doors and windows are fitted with curtains/blinds, enabling ‘blackout’ for stage productions, presentations, film nights etc. A small ‘green room’ with its own toilet can be accessed from either the main hall or the back of the stage.

The Entrance

The entrance is accessible by a ramp with two pairs of double doors. There is also a coat rail and notice board with the latest information about the hall and events.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, fridges, freezer, dishwasher, warming cupboard, microwave and hot water urn. Up to 100 guests can be catered for. A serving hatch opens directly onto the main hall. The kitchen is also equipped with matching crockery and cutlery to provide complete place settings for a three-course meal and coffee. Wine glasses and tumblers are also available.

The Robin Howell Room

This room can be used for meetings of up to ten people and is also a useful space to lay out a buffet, as it has direct access to the kitchen and a double door opening into the main hall.

The Bar

The bar is fully licensed and stocks a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There are also bar snacks available. Cash, card and contactless payments are accepted.
