Bbc Burtle book club

Now in its 12^th year, The Bbc still provides book lovers with a monthly opportunity to get together and discuss their reading. A group of up to a dozen people, meet in a local pub and spend a sociable evening sharing their impressions of a title everyone has read in the previous weeks.

The books are borrowed from the Library Service for a small fee, and chosen at random from their suggested reading lists. This method of selection ensures we access a wide variety of genres and styles. It also means no-one is ‘to blame’ if a title is universally hated!
