Burtle 100 Club

The 100 Club was launched by the Village Hall Committee in January 2016 and so far we have had 21 winners of the various prizes ranging from monthly £20 and £12 prizes, plus the summer sizzler of £60. And there are still 5 more prize winners to come before Christmas! So each of those winners have at least had a 100% return on their initial stake.  I am sure you will agree that these are favourable odds! The best news is that this draw will raise over £600 for the Village Hall in 2016.

Following on from this successful year, we plan to continue the 100 Club in 2017. Now that everyone can see the benefits, we anticipate a much higher demand, so please get your applications in early.

As for 2016, the monthly draws (at Café Burtle) will be as follows:

1st prize £20        2nd prize £12       Plus – June Summer Sizzler: £60, Christmas Cracking Draw: £120

Please complete the membership form below ASAP and return at the next Café Burtle or to any committee member who lives near you. Cheque payments are accepted with the form. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, please let us know. Be sure to give an email address or phone number so we can contact you quickly if you win.

This is open to everyone, not just villagers. Your friends and family can join too. Remember, you must be over 16 years of age to apply. (If you want to take out membership on behalf of a child, it must be in the adults name to comply with gaming rules).

At the end of the year, we will contact all applicants. The first 100 received will be allocated numbers. The rest of you will have be to be quicker off the mark next year. If we get enough interest, we will consider expanding the draw.

Burtle 100 Club Rules:

  • All Subscriptions must be paid in advance
  • Members who have not paid up to date will be excluded from the draw
  • The 100 Club draw is open to all persons over the age of 16
  • Prize money may be varied on a pro rata basis at the discretion of the Village Hall Committee according to the number of participants in the 100 Club. Assuming a total of 100 numbers are allocated, the prizes will be:
    • 12 x monthly prizes of £20
    • 12 x monthly prizes of £12
    • 1 x June prize of £60
    • 1 x December prize of £120
  • The 100 Club draws will take place on a monthly basis at Café Burtle (dates advised in advance in Village Hall newsletter)
  • If a number is drawn which has not been allocated, then the draw will be re-taken
  • No applications for membership will be accepted once the first draw has taken place
  • Members may hold more than one 100 Club number
  • All money, after expenses and prize money have been accounted for, will go the Village Hall
  • A list of winners will be notified by email/phone and in the Village Hall newsletter
  • No monies paid by way of subscriptions shall be returnable in any circumstances
  • THE VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE’S DECISION SHALL BE FINAL ON ANY DISPUTES WHICH MAY ARISE.
